First Time Freshman - 25 years of age or older
First-Time Freshmen: 25 years of age or older
A first-time freshman who is 25 years or older is not required to meet the Board of Regents minimum admissions criteria for first-time freshmen. However, if a student has completed a GED or graduated from high school, he or she must take the university's placement tests in Mathematics and English and must have high school transcripts sent to the Admissions and Records Office. If a student has not completed a GED or graduated from high school, he or she must provide satisfactory evidence of a composite score of 18 on the ACT or an equivalent SAT score together with proof of relevant education, training, and experience.
