Transfer Student Information
A Transfer Guide has been designed which highlights specific, important information and may answer many of your questions. You can access the Transfer Guide online here and/or print it out for your reference.
You are also invited to participate in one of our Transfer Tuesday programs. This is an on-campus event designed to provide personal attention and direction in the enrollment process. Advising and registration will take place separately, but LSUS staff will be available during these times to answer any additional questions you may have. Transfer Tuesdays are offered several times a month in room 215 of the Administration building with a choice of day or evening times.
Additional Important Points for Transfer Students:
- Prior to registration, transfer students must be cleared for admission to the university by the Admissions and Records Office. To ensure that their admission status is complete, students MUST HAVE submitted all application materials and supporting documents.
- After being admitted and advised, transfer students are allowed to register two weeks after currently enrolled LSUS students.
- Students registering during the early registration period are required to pay tuition and fees by the fee payment deadline. Approved financial aid can be applied to tuition and fees.
- Financial aid will not be processed until official transcripts from all colleges attended have been received and evaluated.
