Undergraduate Admissions

Adult and Non-Traditional Students

A first time freshman who is 25 years old or older is not required to meet the Board of Regents minimum admission criteria for first time freshmen. However, he or she must have a need for no more than one remedial course. This is determined by ACT, SAT, COMPASS or placement test scores. Students must also have high school transcripts or a copy of a GED sent to the Admissions and Records Office.

The Student Development Office has helpful information for adult and non-traditional students returning to school. Click HERE for information on making the adjustment to school, studying with children at home, and obtaining financial aid.
