Spring 2006 Tuition & Fee Payment Update

Monday, January 9, is Fee Payment Deadline. All students who signed up for classes must pay by 6:00 PM that day or they would lose their schedule.
In the past, LSUS has been able to use the Caddo-Bossier rooms to assist students with cashiering transactions and to complete their registration process. For the current semester (Spring 2006), we will NOT be able to use any of the rooms in the second floor of the University Center due to the elevator repairs. ALL cashiering transactions for the Spring semester (Fee Payment Deadline, SOAR, Graduate, Transfer, Late Applicant Registration, and Late Registration) will take place in the Administration Building (the Cashiers’ Counter & other Accounting Services offices in the back).
Please keep in mind the following:
- Students who have ALL their tuition & fees covered by any type of exemption or financial aid DO NOT have to see a cashier. They can complete the payment process by accepting their aid (Flipping the Flag) online using COMPASS.
- Students who are paying the amounts not covered by financial aid or paying all their tuition and fees via a credit card, they MUST complete the payment process online using COMPASS.
The balance of financial aid (amounts awarded in excess of the tuition & fees assessed) checks will be distributed the first day of class (January 17, 2006) from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM in the University Center Theater. Parking Decals are being mailed on a daily basis.

Cashier's Counter (AD 129) hours for next week

| Please be advised that the Department of Accounting Services including the Cashier’s Counter, (AD 129), will be closed all day Monday, August 15, 2005. The Accounting Services staff will be at the University Center from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM for Fee Payment Deadline.

Cashier's Counter hours for May 31st and June 1st

| Please note that the Cashier’s Counter (AD 129) will be closed Tuesday May 31st all day (Fee Payment Deadline) and Wednesday June 1st at 1:00 PM (SOAR, Graduate, and Late Applicant Registration). All cashiering transactions during these times (Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM and Wednesday 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM) will be processed at the Caddo-Bossier rooms in the University Center.

Financial Aid Balance Checks

Financial Aid Balance Checks will be available for pick-up by students as follows:
- Today, Tuesday, January 18, 2005
University Center 2nd floor (Noon until 6:00 PM)
- Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 19, 2005:
Cashier’s Counter (8:00 am until noon)
Checks not picked by noon tomorrow will be mailed.

The Accounting Services staff will be at the University Center from 10 until 6 for Transfer Student and Late Applicant Registration. All cashiering transactions must be processed in the Caddo-Bossier room in the UC. If a department must make a deposit, please see either Bill or Revah in the UC. Signs will be posted but it will be appreciated if you will direct those that appear “lost.”
