File Types
You are required to submit your assignments as Microsoft Word documents unless instructed otherwise. If you use another word processing program – such as Word Perfect (.wpd) or Microsoft Works (.wps) – you must know how to save these files as MS Word files by choosing “Save As” and selecting one of the approved formats in the “Save as type” drop down menu. Know that some documents will not save properly in other formats. For example, a document produced in Word Perfect will not necessarily look the same when saved as a Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format file. Also, instructors provide feedback on your documents in Microsoft Word; you must be able to open Microsoft Word.
