Program Eligibility and Application Process
All LSUS students from any major are eligible to enroll in any and all LDSH classes. LEAD is a student-friendly academic enhancement program. Entrance into the program is simple: enroll in any leadership class during the regular class registration process and you are automatically enrolled in the LEAD program. Additionally, there is no set path or order of classes to follow though the program. Classes may be taken in just about any mix or order, and there are minimal prerequisites to impede progress through to completion. LEAD's focus is on developing and promoting "character-based leadership" and practical knowledge, skills, and traits that are extremely valuable in any career as well as everyday lives.
