Leadership Education and Development (LEAD)

 

LEAD- Leadership Education And Development - is LSUS's unique inter-institutional character and leadership development academic enhancement program.   The program offers LSUS students from all majors an opportunity to positively develop their personal character along with their leadership knowledge and abilities while also increasing the value of their undergraduate degree and resume.   Value is added through earning a Leadership Certificate. The LEAD Certificate is a nine-hour "Leader of Character Leadership Certificate";   the certificate may be earned by successfully completing any of the courses with a total combined credit of nine or more hours. 

Mission Statement
The mission of LSUS LEAD is to develop remarkable "Leaders of Character":
- leaders imbued with the highest ideals of integrity, honor, morality, and all of the elements of Leaders of Character:
- leaders resolutely committed to positively influencing our community, society, and world.
