Graduate Assistantships

A limited number of full and part-time assistantships are available to students enrolled in the Specialist in School Psychology Program.

Full Time Graduate Assistantship
Work 20 hours per week
Earn $2500 stipend for semester
Tuition exemption for maximum of 15 credit hours
Must enroll in minimum of 9 graduate hours

Part Time Graduate Assistantship
Work 10 hours per week
Earn $1250 stipend for semester
Tuition Exemption for maximum of 6 credit hours
Must enroll in minimum of 6 graduate hours

Download an application for graduate assistantships and submit to the Psychology Department office.  Completion of this form requires assistance from, and an accompanying nomination letter, from the program director. Assistantships are awarded per semester, and candidates interested in continuing their assistantship must submit a new application prior each semester.

Assistantships are renewed based on student performance and fulfillment of expectations. Under no circumstances should a graduate assistant assume that they will maintain their position from one semester to the next or from Year One to Year Two in the program.
