Management & Marketing

The Management and Administration major provides students with the skills needed to coordinate and manage human, financial, physical, and information resources to achieve an organization's goals.  Career opportunities include entrepreneurial and/or supervisory positions in both small and large businesses, for-profit and non-profit firms, and privately held and publicly traded businesses. Students may elect to concentrate their studies in Human Resource Management or International Business.

The Marketing major prepares students to engage in key marketing activities such as product design, price analysis, market communications, and product placement. Career opportunities in marketing include search engine marketing, retail management, event marketing, and professional sales. Students majoring in Marketing may elect to pursue a concentration in Advertising Design or International Business. Dr. Karen James is Chair of the Department.
