The Communications Department at LSU Shreveport offers a variety of opportunities in the communications field.  The faculty has real world experience in newspapers, television, and public relations as well as the scholarly credentials to guarantee students a competitive academic experience.

With your Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, you will specialize in your choice of print journalism, electronic journalism, public relations, speech, and theater.  The major is available entirely online for those wishing to add a second area of concentration to an existing major or to take courses via the internet.
