If you are looking to further your education through a masters degree, you have come to the right place. The Office of Graduate Studies can assist post-baccalaureate students with the opportunity to further their educational goals through programs of study, teaching, and research in an environment that promotes freedom of expression, intellectual inquiry, and professional integrity. The Office of Graduate Studies also assists the development of degree programs that are relevant and responsive to the needs of its students and the students' communities.
Students interested in pursuing a graduate degree at LSU Shreveport must have a minimum 2.5 undergraduate grade point average on the undergraduate degree (on a 4.0 scale) or a 2.75 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in the last 60 hours attempted in the degree program. In addition, a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) is required on any graduate work attempted. Students meeting these criteria will be unconditionally admitted to graduate study. Students must also meet specific program requirements. Graduate students must be in satisfactory standing at the last institution attended and must submit satisfactory GRE or GMAT scores.
