Nathan Treme

Nathan Treme is more than just a senior graphic design student here at LSU Shreveport. He is also a free lance graphic designer working on the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival marketing and branding campaign. Treme was originally discovered in 2009 on Myspace. Festival organizers liked his work and the fact that he is a local designer. Treme designed all of the branding material for the 2009 festival: billboards, t-shirts, posters and more. The 2009 festival was a huge success and it was the first time the festival has ever sold out of t-shirts and posters! The logo he created was included in LetterCult's, a website highlighting remarkable work with custom lettering, best custom lettering of 2009. Treme is currently working on the festival design for 2010.

Best advice for first time freshmen:
I would tell them to find "real world" professionals to critique your work. And ask them to be brutally honest!
