David Selman
David Selman is not your average LSU Shreveport student. David is also volunteering in the Race to Win Scholarship Phonathon campaign that is raising money for student scholarships. He was also inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, an honor society for students who earn a 3.5 GPA after their freshman year.
Reason(s) for choosing LSU Shreveport:
LSUS has a smaller ratio of students to professors. And it is so close to my home.

More one on one interaction with professors.
Career goal(s):
I want to either get into a management position or go into real estate. I know attending LSUS with help me with either of these goals.
Best advice for first time freshmen:
I would tell them to try not to procrastinate until the last minute with homework and projects!
