Once the Noel Memorial Library, the Technology Center was created when the new Library was built and moved across campus. The Technology Center underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2001 and was completed in early 2002.
It has much to offer all LSUS students. They can visit the LSUS Bookstore, the best source for all their textbooks, supplies and general merchandise needs. The TC Building also hosts one of the campus' Distance Learning labs, an interactive classroom where LSUS hosts and receives classes via compressed video from other universities throughout the state, or take computer science classes in one of the state-of-the-art computer training classrooms.
Students may visit the Pioneer Heritage Center Office to schedule a tour of the museum buildings located on the northeast corner of the campus; or register for one of the many programs offered through the Division of Continuing Education in leisure learning, professional development, computer training, etc., or come talk to our highly skilled nursing program faculty about a career in nursing.
